ACTIVETECH is responsible for MeteoPerito and for decisions about data processing in this application.

Necessary local storage

The application stores your language, dismissal of the beta notice and privacy choice in your browser. These preferences do not include weather searches or reports. The privacy choice is stored for up to six months and is then requested again.

Optional Google Analytics

Analytics is loaded only after you accept it. It records the canonical route, page title and technical browser and device information. The application excludes coordinates, dates, report parameters and the referrer from the page view. Advertising, ad personalisation and Google Signals remain disabled.

When authorised, GA4 may create the _ga and _ga_<identifier> cookies for up to 12 months from first use, without automatic renewal in this application.

Services needed for a weather query

When you request a query, the approximate location and dates are sent to the services needed to produce the result, including Open-Meteo, OpenStreetMap, Iowa State University Mesonet and EUMETSAT. These functional requests do not depend on accepting Analytics.

Your choices and rights

You can change or withdraw consent at any time in this window. Withdrawal prevents new Analytics events and removes Analytics cookies accessible to the application. To exercise data protection rights, use the contact details published by ACTIVETECH. You may also complain to the Portuguese data protection authority, CNPD.
